The Dyson Vacuum Cleaner ExposedHow Good Are Dyson Vacuum Cleaners, Really?Dyson vacuum cleaners seem to have it all, don't they? Most any review will mention the superior suction power and pick up. Then there's the easy maneuverability that makes thorough cleaning super easy. Okay, but what makes Dyson vacuum cleaners different from the rest of the pack?Perhaps so. The company keeps innovating with new design features. But then what would you expect from someone who rolled through, as legend has it, 5,127 prototypes? First there was unstoppable suction. On all types of floors and floor coverings. Their air-tunnel technology has helped. It let Dyson plant the idea in consumers minds that theirs was the only vacuum that does not lose suction. An appealing feature when anyone who has ever tried their hand at vacuuming knows that this is a common complaint. Because as the bag fills suction dies. Then came The Ball. The revolutionary technology, after all vacuums had been on four wheels for years and years, allows you to pivot and swivel like no other vacuum can. That's due in part to the fact the motor is mounted within the ball. This results in a low center of gravity making it easy to change direction on a dime There's also the so called Air Muscle technology. And don't you just love how that sounds powerful? But the term doesn't give you any idea as to what it means exactly. So let me clue you in. It means the head will adjust to various types of carpeting to give maximum suction for extracting embedded dirt and pet hair. Oh and did I mention these models thoroughly filter any air of dust and odors before expelling it? Or that you can even get a vacuum specifically designed for removing pet hair or for those with allergy concerns. Plus you never touch the dust collected. Simply wash the filter of these bagless wonders and you're all set. And this doesn't even get into the accessories like the flexible crevice tools, mattress tools or soft dusting brush and the like. All this on top of vacuums that looked like no others at the time. The bold colors and improved technology enabled Dyson to take a slice of market share that other brands didn't expect to lose. Such advanced technologies are available in upright, canister and handheld models. (With the most popular Dysons right now being the DC25 and DC31 models.) Perhaps this is why many consider Dyson vacuums to be the Rolls Royce of the vacuuming world. They have become in some ways the standard against which all other vacuums are measured. Of course this innovative carpet cleaning comes at a price. So you best be willing to dig deeper because the price tag isn't cheap. Although going with a refurbished model it would be more so. Still if you're looking for something that will never clog or lose suction you may well find the price worth it. Especially if you want to say good bye to dirt, allergens and pet hair.
